Guidance for spectators at DPL sporting venues

We are delighted we can welcome spectators to outdoor sports fixtures, Tribe athletics events and sports days. We ask all spectators to follow the guidance detailed below. Fixtures - this provision is for weekend fixtures only. We will not be allowing spectators for midweek fixtures. This guidance relates to our off-site playing fields - Mary Datchelor, Grange Lane and Gallery Road. The swimming pool will not be open to spectators at any stage this summer term.

Key points

- Please maintain social distancing while spectating: the 2-metre rule.

- All visitors must bring their own hand sanitiser, and ensure it is used on arrival and at regular 20-minute intervals whilst on the school site.

- At present, we will not be able to offer refreshments to spectators or boys. Please do come equipped with your own, should you feel it necessary.

- Spectators are asked to spread themselves around the boundary/pitch/playing area to watch. Please do not mix with parents or spectators from other schools.

- Toilets will be available for all visitors, with clear signage in place. But please ensure only ONE person is inside at one time and respect social distancing where possible. Face coverings must be worn when entering the toilets.

- Although not COVID-19 related, a reminder that no dogs are permitted at DPL playing fields.

Please do not visit the DPL playing fields in the following circumstances:

- If you or any member of your household or support bubble have tested positive for COVID-19.

- If you or any member of your household or support bubble are showing symptoms and are currently waiting for a test or for test results.

We are delighted to be able to welcome you back on site and we thank you in advance for your understanding and support of the above guidance.
